汶川地震的伤痛犹在,玉树地震又添新伤。截至4月20日上午10时,青海玉树县7.1级地震已造成2046人死亡、失踪193人、受伤12135人,其中重伤1434人。继2008年5月汶川地震预报失手后,中国地震局再次坦承玉树地震预测预报不成功。地震预报,不仅困扰着中国的地震研究者,也是全球性科研难题。地震到底能不能预报?我国地震预报现状如何?本刊就此采访中国地震台网中心研究员孙士宏。
Wenchuan earthquake still hurt, Yushu earthquake added new injuries. As of 10 o’clock on April 20, Yushu County, Qinghai 7.1 earthquake has caused 2,046 deaths, 193 missing and 12,135 injured, of which 1434 were seriously injured. Following the miss of the May 2008 Wenchuan earthquake prediction, China Earthquake Administration once again admitted that the Yushu earthquake prediction and forecast was unsuccessful.
