(一)Alice in Wonderland

Plot outline: Tim Burton is at it again, taking a childhood story into something awesome. The adaptation of the classic novel Alice in Wonderland takes place ten years after Alice last visited wonderland. While attending a socialite party she catches a glimpse of the famous white rabbit which she follows into a dark hole, sending her into the infamous Wonderland.

Point: Christopher Nolan conquered the world in 2008 with The Dark Knight. In 2010 he’ll bring us Inception. “All anyone knows about the plot is what Nolan has said that it’s a thriller set within the architecture of the mind.” If you can figure out what that means, let us know.
But since The Dark Knight is the second-highest grossing movie in the U.S. ever, and since Nolan has also directed Batman Begins and The Prestige, and since he’s collected a terrific cast, then we’re willing to follow him anywhere.

With a supporting role in Jonah Hex, and the inevitable Transformers sequel among the projects on her slate, we expect to see Ms. Fox around for a long time.

Plot outline: Voldemort’s power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore’s work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat the Dark Lord. But little hope remains for them.

Point: This could be a fantastic movie, but we just don’t like that Warner Brothers has split the book in two. This movie has another problem: Part I promises to be the darkest Potter film yet. It’s going to be way over the top with the violence, torture and killing for the kids that are going to want to see it. But the most action packed of all the books this one is sure to pull in even anti-Potter viewers. And the kiss between Hermione and Ron is one of the most anticipated moments in the film series.
