Ho-shaped pick of all kinds of failure forms of wear failure accounted for the largest proportion of 80% to 90%, while other forms of failure accounted for only 10% to 20%, due to the cemented carbide cutter head and carbide teeth In the hardness and wear resistance difference is too large, making the actual use of cemented carbide bit produces less wear and tear but support the carbide part of the tooth body has produced a lot of wear and tear, a sharp decline in bearing strength, and ultimately lead to hard Quality alloy head off, is the main reason for pick-shaped tooth wear failure. In order to solve the problem of wear failure, a new solution of split segment picks is proposed and the manufacturing process is given. The preliminary experimental results show that the segment composite picks have about 1.6 times longer service life than traditional picks.
