对河流的关注,本身就带着人类学的溯源体察和诉求,经由河流文化所辐射的脉络,以及在社会发展进程中所呈现出的各种态势,我们可以了解和判断河流文化共同体的各种现状、问题,并就此做出反思。特别是在全球化大背景下,对于河流与人的关系的考察与再认识,是一个不可忽视的课题,同时,消费社会所呈现的各种窘境和奇观轮番上演,河流亦被挟裹其中。对于河流的解读,似乎是滞后于其他自然景观的。就像我们在阅读荷兰哲学家托恩·勒迈尔关于“山”的解读时所看到的那样:“对山的发现和赞美,是欧洲人对野蛮和荒野的态度的彻底转变,因为(高)山原来是野蛮
Attention to the river itself is based on anthropological observations and demands of the source.
