The 2014-2015 Volvo Ocean Race, one of the “Three Major Sailing Events in the World,” is currently under intense activity with the fleet of vessels reaching Sanya Station in China a few days ago. The event set sail on October 11, 2014 in Port Alicante, Spain and will be closed in Gothenburg, Sweden, on June 27, 201 5. The entire journey takes 9 months, crosses 3 oceans and reaches 6 continents.
