我国著名的语言文字学家、北京大学中文系教授朱德熙先生,因病不幸于1992年7月19日(当地时间)在美国斯坦福大学医院逝世,终年72岁。朱德熙先生1920年10月生,江苏苏州人。1945年毕业于西南联合大学中文系,1946年在清华大学中文系任教,1952年应邀赴保加利亚索菲亚大学任教,1955年起在北京大学中文系任教,1979年任教授,历任北京大学中文系现代汉语教研室主任、系副主任,北京大学副校长兼研究生院院长,中国语言学会副会长、会长,世界汉语教学学会会
Mr. Zhu Dexi, a famous linguist and professor of Chinese at Peking University, died at the Stanford Hospital in the United States on July 19, 1992 (local time). He died at the age of 72 at the age of 72. Mr. Zhu Dexi born in October 1920, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from the Department of Chinese at Southwestern Polytechnic University in 1945 and taught at the Chinese Department of Tsinghua University in 1946. He was invited to teach in Sophia University in Bulgaria in 1952 and taught in the Chinese Department of Peking University in 1955. He served as professor in 1979 and became professor of Chinese at Peking University Teaching and Research Office Director, Department Deputy Director, Peking University Vice President and Dean of Graduate School, Vice President of Chinese Language Institute, President, World Association of Chinese Language Teaching
