今年8月22日至27日,新加坡内阁资政李光耀及其随行的由新加坡40名企业家组成的经贸代表团考察访问了河北省的秦皇岛、唐山、廊坊和石家庄市,取得了可喜的成果。 22日,应江泽民主席邀请来我国进行国事访问的新加坡总统王鼎昌和应中共河北省委书记程维高邀请来河北考察访问的新加坡内阁资政李光耀,同时抵达秦皇岛市。河北省委书记程维高和省长叶连松到机场迎接,国务院总理李鹏在秦皇岛会见了新加坡客人。
From August 22 to August 27, Singapore’s top minister Lee Kuan Yew and his entouraged economic and trade delegation of 40 entrepreneurs from Singapore visited Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, Langfang and Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province and made gratifying achievements. On the 22nd, Singaporean President Wang Dingchang, who came to China for state visit at the invitation of President Jiang Zemin, and Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore’s visiting minister who was invited to visit Hebei at the invitation of the CPC Hebei Provincial Party Committee Secretary Cheng Weigao, arrived in Qinhuangdao at the same time.
