There is a set of gray-purple and brown-red coarse clastic rocks distributed in the north of the middle of the Lunpola Basin in Tibet. Both of them were Cretaceous before 1975. In recent years, the author has collected some types of sporopollen fossils on the southern slope and the north slope, and has been identified as Tertiary. The article is quoted as follows: The area is sporadically outcropped with lithology of purple-violet, middle-reddish brown blocks of conglomerate, conglomerate and reddish brown mid-level gravel sandy mudstone, gray purple thin- Thick sandstone is not equal to the thickness of each layer, even folder light gray thin-bedded marl and gray-green mudstone belt. Containing a small amount of melanoid and sporopollen fossils, about 1,000 meters thick. On the south and north sides of the fault, they are all connected with the Tertiary Tembo Formation and Cretaceous by fault (photo).
