太阳光是一种能对人眼视觉神经产生刺激作用的电磁辐射。电磁辐射的波长范围很广,可见光的波长范围一般是指380nm(纳米)至780纳米,称为可见光谱。小于380纳米波长的称为紫外光辐射,大于780纳米波长的称为红外辐射。紫外线辐射波长比可见光线谱短,人眼是看不见的。科学家称波长在290纳米以下的叫短波或极短波紫外线波长在290~320纳米的叫中波或远波紫外线,波长在320纳米以上的叫长波紫外线。波长越短,对人体及其他物体的危害越大。
Sunlight is a type of electromagnetic radiation that stimulates the human visual nerve. The wavelength of electromagnetic radiation is very wide, the wavelength range of visible light generally refers to 380nm (nanometer) to 780nm, called the visible spectrum. Wavelengths less than 380 nm are referred to as UV radiation and wavelengths greater than 780 nm are referred to as IR radiation. UV radiation wavelength is shorter than the visible light spectrum, the human eye is invisible. Scientists said the wavelength of 290 nanometers below called shortwave or very shortwave ultraviolet wavelengths in the 290 ~ 320 nm called the medium wave or the far-infrared ultraviolet wavelength of 320 nm or more called long-wave ultraviolet. The shorter the wavelength, the harder it is to the human body and other objects.
