At the end of February, HP announced the VA7110, a replacement for the VA7100, a mid-market leader in virtual storage. As the VA7100 can no longer meet the virtual storage speed requirements, so HP will use new products to stabilize its market share. In some cases, the VA7110 has twice the relative performance of the VA7100 and is a 2Gb Fiber Channel virtual disk array offering greater cost performance. Compared with the VA7100, VA7110 is more substantial in capacity. Accommodates up to 15 disk drives (or more than 2TB in capacity) in a slim 3U form factor, expands scalability from the current 15 disk limits to 45 disks, enables capacity to exceed 6TB, and allows users to mix and match
