开篇:我国是一个统一的多民族社会主义国家。55个少数民族有9120万人口,占全国总人口的8%,民族区域自治地方的面积占全部国土的64%,地域辽阔资源丰富。加快少数民族和民族地区的经济和社会发展,维护全国各民族的大团结,不仅关系到少数民族的繁荣和幸福,而且关系到我国现代化建设的全局。因此,加速民族教育事业的发展成为民族工作的重点内容之一。
Opening: Our country is a unified multi-ethnic socialist country. The 55 ethnic minorities have a population of 91.2 million, accounting for 8% of the total population of the country. The autonomous regions in the ethnic regions occupy 64% of the total territory, and the region has vast resources. Accelerating the economic and social development of ethnic minorities and ethnic areas and safeguarding the great unity of all ethnic groups in our country are not only related to the prosperity and happiness of ethnic minorities but also to the overall situation of our country’s modernization. Therefore, accelerating the development of ethnic education has become one of the key elements of ethnic work.
