结合自身实际,大连走出了一条以开放为引领、以创新为驱动、以转型为突破口、以改善民生为落脚点、以引领和服务区域共同振兴为使命的振兴之路大连,别称滨城,地处辽东半岛最南端,东濒黄海,西临渤海,南与山东半岛隔海相望,北倚东北三省及内蒙古东部广阔腹地,面积1.257万平方公里,海岸线长2211公里,总人口700万人,是国家副省级市、计划单列市和第一批沿海开放城市之一,同时也是东北三省重要的老工业基地。

Dalian, otherwise known as Bincheng, Liaodong Peninsula at the southernmost tip of the East Yellow Sea, west of the Bohai Sea, south and Shandong Peninsula across the sea, north of three provinces in Northeast China and eastern Inner Mongolia vast hinterland, an area of 12,700 square kilometers, coastline 2,211 kilometers, with a total population of 7,000,000 people, It is one of the sub-provincial municipalities, cities specifically designated in the state plan, and one of the first coastal open cities. It is also an important old industrial base in the three northeastern provinces.
