本文论述伊犁上下两千年间各民族移民开发史实。认为伊犁历代都是移民社会；移民类型复杂，主要以民族迁徙为主，表现出强烈的地缘政治性和政策性；伊犁移民的生存和发展，与祖国的强盛和稳定密不可分；伊犁13个世居民族的形成，都是近现代移民的结果。
This article discusses the historical facts about the development of various ethnic immigrants in Yili for two thousand years. The history of Ili was considered as an immigrant society. The types of immigrants were complex and mainly dominated by ethnic migrations, showing a strong geopolitical and policy nature. The survival and development of Ili migrants were inextricably linked with the prosperity and stability of the motherland. The formation of ethnic groups are the result of modern immigrants.
