By using CSAI-2 questionnaire and SEEs scale, this study measured the intensity and direction of state anxiety of 44 college students before they tested 1000 meters and the psychology reaction after the game. The results showed that: (1) Cognitive anxiety and somatoform anxiety had a certain impact on the scores of undergraduates in the 1000M test; (2) self-confidence was related to the scores of undergraduates in the 1000M test; (3) 1000M run helped improve the undergraduates’ positive Mental health, both good and bad grades; ④ different test grade group state anxiety reaction not only in intensity, but also in the direction of significant differences, poor grades group than good grades group had significantly higher state anxiety Degree, and more state anxiety is rated as having a negative impact on grades; ⑤ anxiety does not always have a negative impact on athletic performance; some college students recognize it as having a positive effect on grades. It is suggested that the majority of PE teachers should pay attention to the adjustment of college students’ anxiety level before exams and make a positive assessment of their state anxiety reaction.
