凯里奥陶纪地层属于扬子型沉积区黔东分区的凯里——都匀小区沉积。前人对该地区地层作过不同程度的研究工作,据所获资料,都没有在该区发现过奥陶系中统沉积。一九八七年十一月,我队1:5万区调分队在凯里万潮区荷花村进行剖面测量工作时,首次在该地区发现了奥陶系中统十字铺组地层。荷花剖面地层出露良好,层次清楚,无断层构造影响(图1)。经初步整理,现将剖面列述如下:
The Careyao Taoji Formation belongs to the Caili-Duyun area in the Qiandong sub-region of the Yangtze sedimentary area. The predecessors made different degrees of research work on the strata in this area. According to the information obtained, no sediments of the Ordovician system were found in this area. In November 1987, when the 1: 50,000 Divisions of our team conducted cross-section surveys in Lotus Village in the Kaili Wanchao District, it was the first time that the Ordovician Central Shizuipu Formation was discovered in the area. Lotus section strata exposed well, the level of clear, no fault structure (Figure 1). After preliminary sorting, the profile is as follows:
