迎春又名迎春花,金腰带,木犀科落叶或常绿丛生灌木,枝条细长拱形下垂,小枝绿色四棱形,叶对生,小叶3枚,卵形至长椭圆形。它早在梅花开花之前,就开出朵朵黄花,迎来了春意,故名“迎春”。一、习性迎春喜光,稍耐荫,喜温暖,较耐寒,对土壤要求不高,喜肥也耐贫瘠、耐旱、耐碱,怕涝。萌发力强,耐修剪。二、繁殖可用扦插、分株、压条等法来繁殖迎春,但最常用、简便易行,并能获得大量苗木的就属扦插了。扦插时间既可在2～3月,也可在6～8月进行。扦插成活后,加强肥水管理,翌春即可移植栽培。三、栽培迎春对土壤要求不高,但在疏松肥沃、排水良好的沙质土壤中生长良好。盆景艺术要求迎春树干有一定粗度,方有观赏价值。为使新繁殖的迎春更块地生长,最好地栽几年后再上细盆(即观赏用盆)造型。如住楼房亦可盆栽培育苗木,但上盆所需时间比地栽要长。四、造型
