吴昌硕绘画素以大写意花卉为代表,仅作有不多的人物,而仅存的人物又以佛教人物画为主。吴昌硕出身儒门世家,三代为举,读书人的身份影响着他对佛教的理解。审视吴昌硕笔下的佛教人物像,并没有像其他居士画家一样,对往生西方净土、觉悟成佛充满愿望与决心。相反,他的佛教人物像中总有一种文人访道登仙的情怀掺杂其中。同时,早年苦难的人生经历和刚正执拗的性格也造就了吴昌硕笔下不同于其他居士画家的佛教人物。本文即就吴昌硕所作不多的佛教人物像进行初步的探讨与分析。
Paintings written by Wu Changshuo are represented mainly by the large freehand flowers and are used only for a small number of people. The only remaining figures are Buddhist figure paintings. Wuchang Shuo family Confucianism family, three generations of cites, scholar’s identity affects his understanding of Buddhism. Examining the Buddhist figures portrayed by Wu Chang-shu is not like other lay painters, full of desire and determination to reborn in the Pure Land of the West and realize Buddhahood. On the contrary, there is always one type of scholar in his Buddhist figures who dabbles in the cemetery. In the meantime, the life experience of the early years of misery and the just stubborn character have also created Buddhist figures different from other lay painters by Wu Changshuo. In this paper, Wu Changshuo did not do much Buddhist figure for a preliminary discussion and analysis.
