比我们晚几届的同学常常羡慕我们,说我们幸运,能听到当时北大中文系所有国内第一流学者的课。的确,55级、56级是幸运的,他们是院系调整后第一后、第二后的五年制本科。单说语言方面的课程,主讲的就有王力、魏建功、袁家骅、高名凯、周祖谟、岑麒祥、林焘等多位先生,朱德熙先生也是其中的一位,而且是最受欢迎的一位。听朱先生的讲课不但受到语言科学的启蒙,而且可以说也是一次教学艺术的享受。先生讲课言语简练准确,思路清晰干净,一环紧扣一环,没有重复与颠倒,没有突然的中断或跳跃。他总是用一些让你不得不思考的问题来引导学生,让我们一步一步地跟着他的思路进入科学迷宫,最后到达出口。他没有哗众取宠的噱头,也没有那种时髦的“联系政治”。他的讲课有着巨大的逻辑力量,有着归真返朴的语言运用艺术。这是一种魅力。就是这种魅力,吸引
