In line with the “International 10 Years of Disaster Reduction” campaign of the last decade of this century, the International Geographical Union (IGU) established the corresponding academic organization, the Study Group on Rapid Geomorphological Hazards, . This is one of six study groups in the IGU with 22 committees. 1. Origin of the organization and its research content The research group is the basis of the last IGU (1985-1988) 3 geomorphological organizations (Geomorphology Survey and Mapping Working Group, Coastal Plain and River Landform Working Group, Structural Geomorphology Working Group) On, adjusted and rebuilt. After repeated deliberation by the key members of the previous working group,
