据湖北省公安部门提供的材料,近几年废金属战线刑事案件不断上升,1989年至1990年仅破坏邮电通讯线路、电力设备案件达547起,被盗各类电线电缆59万多米、塔材、拉线附件5029件、变压器433台,直接经济损失达1409万元以上。由于这些案件而造成的工厂停工、影响农业排灌、中断通讯、飞机停飞的间接损失就不计其数了。盗窃破坏现象为何如此猖獗?究其因,就是盗窃分子销赃非常容易。当前,有些地方偷盗、窝赃、销赃已成龙配套,“只愁偷不到,不愁销不了”。偷盗、销赃的奇闻也时有发生,现辑录几则,希望引起有关方面注意:
