明清时期是中国叙事文学发展的成熟期和高峰期,该时期的叙事理论与实践充分体现了中国叙事学的“国情”特色,具有标本或示范功能。《明清叙事思想研究》分四个层面对此进行了富有成效的研究,即:从体制形态看明清叙事思想;王国维、梁启超的叙事思想;报刊语境、读者意识与近代叙事思想的变化和明清小说的叙事艺术。其研究的切入点和体例设置独具匠心,视野开阔,思路清晰,尊重历史,新见迭出,从整体上凸显了明清叙事思想的大致轮廓。
The Ming and Qing Dynasties are the mature and peak periods of the development of narrative literature in China. The narrative theory and practice during this period fully embodies the “national conditions” characteristic of Chinese narratology and possesses specimens or demonstration functions. The study of Narrative Thought in Ming and Qing Dynasties has carried out fruitful research in four aspects: the narrative thought of Ming and Qing Dynasties from the system form; the narrative thought of Wang Guowei and Liang Qichao; the context of newspaper and periodical, the awareness of reader and the thought of modern narration Change and Narrative Art in Novels of Ming and Qing. The research points and methods set distinctive originality, broad vision, clear thinking, respect for history, new ideas one after another, highlighting the overall outline of the general outline of the Ming and Qing narrative.
