陕西省榆林市定边县城郊防护林是县第1个闭合式防护林体系,是由定边县委、县政府安排,计划从2012起利用3a时间完成城郊防护林建设,总长度54.0km。宽度100m,面积533.33多hm2。总投资1.4亿元。2012年,已经实施的定边县城北侧防护林,西起307国道,东至定海路,全长14.0km左右,绿化宽度100m,面积420hm2,总投资4635.658万元,共划分19个标段,设计树种有中槐、新疆杨、刺槐、旱柳、樟子松等。2013年实施东侧防护林带,北接2012年防护林带东端,南至太中银铁路全长14.1km,宽度40-200m,面积135.06hm2。总投资4570万元。共划分14个标段。全为县财政投资。
