国家建设部官员日前在国务院新闻办举行的记者招待会上说,目前全国累计拖欠工程款3660多亿元,其中农民工工资占了近10%,平均每个农民工被拖欠工资1000元。而政府在工程建设中拖欠严重,据统计,已经竣工的1756亿元工程款中,政府项目拖欠高达642亿元,占36.7%。
At a press conference held recently by the Information Office of the State Council, officials of the Ministry of National Construction said that at present there are over 360 billion yuan of arrears in construction projects nationwide, of which migrant workers' salaries account for nearly 10%. On average, every migrant worker is owed wages of 1,000 yuan. In the project construction, the government owes a serious debt default. According to statistics, among the 175.6 billion yuan of construction funds that have been completed, the government projects owed as much as 64.2 billion yuan in arrears, accounting for 36.7% of the total.
