浙江省新昌中学创办于1925年,是浙江省第一所通过正式评估,同时具有省特色高中和省一级重点中学称号的学校。抗日战争时期,学校就建立了党小组,编发进步校刊《新中月刊》,宣传革命思想,开展抗日活动,四位新中学子为此献出年轻的生命,史称“新中四英烈”。新昌中学是国内较早开展创造发明教育的学校之一。
Founded in 1925, Zhejiang Xinchang Middle School is the first school in Zhejiang Province to pass a formal assessment and at the same time has the title of provincial high school and provincial key middle school. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the school established a party group and compiled the new monthly magazine “Xinzhong Monthly” to promote revolutionary ideas and carry out anti-Japanese activities.
