The authors made a very intresting experiment to show if a required variable intensity of metal removal along gear flank in EGG of gear with worm shaped wheel can be obtained by a rapid changing D. G. Main.Siniulating test has been made to show that there is practically no phase lagging between the signal and the metal removal. Multi-shread worm wheel has been used to get single point contact during meshing while small pressure angle worm wheel is applied to minimize the diffusion effect of EC process. Experiment succecded to orrect a given error in profile by applying a periodical signal through some photo-electric device, possible application of this principle in EGG of gear is predicted.
