用苎麻种根作无性繁殖,虽能保持种性,但繁殖速度慢,故目前利用苎麻的地上部器官进行扦插繁殖较多,如用茎秆、嫩茎梢和分枝等器官进行扦插;在扦插方法上用水插、沙插等,在扦插时间上仅利用5～6月的黄梅季节。这许多方法因受季节和繁殖系数等因素的限制,在生产实践上运用还有较大的局限性,尤其对新麻区。我们在近期内重点研究苎麻侧枝的扦插技术,能解决上述的弊病。它不仅可在黄梅季节扦插成活,而且在高温伏旱的7～8月也能扦插,还可以进行异地近距离扦插。一、试验方法
