There are 45 state-owned tea farms in Jiangsu Province, accounting for 28% of the total tea area. Tea output accounts for 70% of the province’s total output, with an average yield of 160 kilos per mu, about 50% higher than the province’s average yield. However, there is still a big gap between the various fields, mainly in four aspects: (1) put into operation: some field three or five years that can put into operation, and some field seven or eight years old tea is still a young tea plantation.
