“湘矮早九号”(原名72—25),是我院水稻研究所用“691”(即IR8)与“湘矮早4号”杂交育成的抗病高产迟熟早秈品种。1973年进行品比试验,小区亩产1014.7斤,比对照种“湘矮早4号”增产7.4%。1974年参加全省早籼良种区域试验,在无稻瘟病的28个区试点中,下均亩产873.1斤,比对照种“湘矮早4号”增产9%,比“广陆矮4号”增产1%,居第1位。在有稻瘟病的5个区试点中,“湘矮早4号”、“广陆矮4号”等多数供试品
“Xiang short morning nine” (formerly known as 72-25), is the Institute of Rice Research Institute with “691” (IR8) and “Xiang Aizao 4” bred early indica varieties of high yield and late maturity. In 1973, the product ratio test, plots per mu 1014.7 kg, compared with the control “Xiang short morning 4” 7.4% increase.
