The authors studied the changes of antibodies against lectin, leukocyte increased factor (LPF) and filamentous hemagglutinin (FHA) antibodies in maternal-to-infant delivery of antibodies against B. pertussis and of pertussis acellular bacterin. The test was divided into three groups, 34 mothers and their newborn paired serum group 1, from the determination of cord blood and maternal serum antibody results showed that neonatal umbilical cord blood LPF antibody titer of 14.0 EU average (ELISA units) 2.9 times that of the mother’s antibody (P = 0.057); the average FHA antibody was 26.8 EU and its mother was 41.4 EU, with no significant difference
