The May Fourth New Culture Movement is not a general anti-tradition. This has become the consensus of the academic community in recent years. However, the internal relations between the May 4th new culture and the tradition are still poorly studied. Some scholars in modern times regarded the academic thought of the early Qing Dynasty to the May 4th period as academic
