ASEAN is China’s good neighbor, good friend and good partner. From July 1991, when China attended the 24th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, it has been 25 years since China and ASEAN established their dialogue and partnership. Looking back on these 25 years, China and the ASEAN countries have become highly integrated community of interests, effectively promoting their respective economic and social development and the cooperation in East Asia and becoming an important pillar of regional peace, stability and development and prosperity.
