乙酉年初夏时节,经时任广东省军区后勤部长何火贤大校的牵线,结识汕头书法同仁彭小鹏。因曾是军人的缘由,固彼此间心灵相通,初次见面便能一块谈笑风生,共话书坛趣事,十分快哉。小鹏还将其近期书作出示给我看,内心甚为其书艺水平感到惊讶,极是出乎我的意料。之后,小鹏每次来广州都会与我邀约见面,并常有电话联系,时不时寄些书作让我多提批评意见,说是好使自己有更大进步,其谦慎好学之举令我十分感动。小鹏名字虽有小字,可气度却不“小”。其魁梧身材稍微肥胖,显得非常健
