摩托车机械式自动启动装置是由河南新乡市的孟样军同志发明的,专利号为ZL942071743,该启动装置已在大阳DY90A摩托车和重庆CY80摩托车上试验成功。就目前情况看,该装置不论是在排量100毫升以下的四冲程发动机还是在二冲程发动机上都可以顺利启动,而在助力车上用则启动更为容易。该装置如果用于90型摩托车并且批量生产的话,其制造成本不超过百元;而用于助力车上,其制造成本为30～50元。由此可见,此装置比电启动装置便宜多了。
