庄浪河发源于祁连山东段冷龙岭,于兰州西郊的河口镇入黄河,全长156公里左右,在直接注入黄河的支流中,只是一条很不显眼的河流。笔者曾有机会在该河上游地区作短期野外工作,发现庄浪河流域的地貌发育颇为独特。事后通过对古浪幅、永靖幅陆地卫星影象的判读和已有地质地貌资料的分析,初步确认庄浪河曾经发生过河流袭夺现象。
Zhuanglanghe originated in Lenglongling in the eastern section of Qilian Mountains and entered the Yellow River in the estuary of Lanzhou in the western suburbs of Lanzhou. It is about 156 kilometers in length. Among the tributaries injected directly into the Yellow River, it is only a very inconspicuous river. The author had the opportunity to make short-term field work in the upper reaches of the river and found that the topography of Zhuanglang River Basin is quite unique. Afterwards, through the interpretation of the ancient satellite images of Gulang and Yongjinggong, and the analysis of the existing geological and geomorphological data, it was initially confirmed that the phenomenon of river capture occurred in Zhuanglang River.
