In light of the current ongoing education campaign to maintain the advanced nature of party members, the report closely focuses on the current vague awareness of party members and cadres, and conducts an in-depth analysis. Through the vertical comparison of the ruling status of the party itself and the horizontal comparison of the lessons of the collapse of the CPSU, this paper expounds the significant meaning of carrying out the educational activities of keeping the advanced nature of the party members in terms of the historical position of the party and the prominent problems within the party. The key to the party’s good governance lies in that party members should faithfully practice the important thinking of the ’three represents,’ maintain their advanced nature and thus embody the party’s overall advanced nature.
