作者在研究单体~(239)Pu的分布和致畸效应中观察到2只雌兔妊娠28天时早产,子宫严重出血,这个不寻常的发现促使作者进一步去查明其余雌兔是否有凝血缺陷,凝血缺陷可能是导致出血的原因。作者简述了材料的准备及实验方法。对39只怀孕的新西兰白兔从耳静脉注射枸橼酸钚。对照组只注射枸橼酸,实验组分别注射10或40μCi/kg的~(239)Pu,在妊娠29天时活杀。分组情况见表1。动物于乙醚麻醉下心脏穿刺抽血作血小板计数、血球压积及凝血时间(见表1),对资料作统计学分析。
