冒号(:),是表示提示语之后的停顿的一种标点符号。所谓“提示语”,就是领起以下的话的一个“开头”;它的作用,无非是叫人注意,以便提起下文。提示语大约有以下四种: (一)演说词或者书信开头的称呼。例如,“同志们”、“××同志”等等。(二)文中引用语之前的“××说”之类。例如: 俗话说:“人无远虑,必有近忧”。(十年制小学语文第九册《人人都要爱惜粮食》) 那个军人说:“我才二十八岁,你已经五十啦!”(高小语文第三册《列宁参加义务劳动》)
A colon (:) is a punctuation mark that indicates the pause after the prompt. The so-called “prompting language” is the “beginning” of the following words; its function is nothing less than human attention so as to raise the following. Prompts about the following four kinds: (a) speech or letter at the beginning of the title. For example, “Comrades”, “Comrade XX” and so on. (B) the introduction of the article before the “× × said” and the like. For example: As the saying goes: “There is no long-term concern, there must be near worry.” (The tenth grade primary school language ninth volume, “Everyone should cherish food.”) The soldier said: “I was twenty-eight years old, you have fifty!” (High School Chinese Vol.3 “Lenin Participates in Voluntary Labor” )
