绩效管理是管理者与员工之间在目标与如何实现目标上所达成共识的过程,以及增强员工成功地达到目标的管理方法。随着现代企业制度的建立与完善,绩效管理已作为企业管理的重要工具和方法,其重要性已为广大的管理所认同。但是通过绩效管理达到预期目标的企业却很少,大多绩效管理都是流于形式,失败的关键是与绩效管理相配合的绩效文化建立的缺失。
Performance management is the process of reaching consensus between managers and employees about goals and how to achieve them, as well as how to improve employees’ success in achieving their goals. With the establishment and perfection of modern enterprise system, performance management has been regarded as an important tool and method of enterprise management, and its importance has been approved by the general management. However, there are only a few enterprises that achieve the expected results through performance management. Mostly, performance management is a mere formality. The key to failure is the lack of performance culture that is associated with performance management.
