李树清是四川省绵阳市塘汛镇板桥村的一位普通农家妇女,今年46岁。去年10月,村边的公路扩建拓宽,村里人出行方便多了,但是行人和自行车随意横穿公路,儿童少年在公路上追逐嬉戏,交通事故隐患也多了起来。 为了规范过往行人和非机动车辆的交通行为,提高公路沿线老百姓的交通安全意识,交警二大队决定聘请义务交通员上路纠正行人和自行车交通违章行为,维护交通秩序。在公路边生活了2o年的李树清听到消息,当即报了名。经过交警二大队一段时间的培训,李树清与其他几人开始在几个大的路口上岗了。
