英语是一门语言科学,有着非常重要的实用性,然而长期以来由于受传统应试教育影响,在英语教学过程中,老师大都偏重知识的讲解,注重句篇的翻译却忽视对学生口语表达能力的培养。部分中学生感到掌握口语有困难,他们上课不喜欢举手回答问题,面对老师同学很害羞,不愿意参与课堂小组活动。从而导致部分中学生英语口语表达能力偏低。随着社会的发展,学习英语并用英语进行口头交际已成为社会的需要。口语教学在初中英语教学中始终占有重要地位,这就要求我们广大教师必须加强英语口语教学。
English is a linguistic science and has very important practicality. However, due to the influence of traditional examination-oriented education for a long time, teachers mostly lay stress on the explanation of knowledge in the process of English teaching. They pay more attention to the translation of sentences while ignoring the students’ to cultivate. Some middle school students find it difficult to master their oral English. They do not like to raise their hands to answer questions in class. They are very shy in the face of teachers and students and are not willing to participate in classroom activities. As a result, some middle school students have poor oral English skills. With the development of society, learning English and verbal communication in English has become a social need. Oral English teaching in junior high schools always occupy an important position, which requires our vast number of teachers must strengthen oral English teaching.
