王明明1952年出生于北京,山东蓬莱县人。自幼酷爱绘画,儿童时代的作品曾到三十几个国家展出,曾获世界儿童画比赛特等奖、一等奖。上世纪70年代,王明明长期刻苦学习和创作,求教于吴作人、李苦禅、蒋兆和、刘凌沧、声沉、周思聪、姚有多等诸名家,打下坚实的绘画基础。1978年考取中央工艺美院未入学,同年调入北京画院从事专业创作。作品多次参加全国大型画展,曾在北京、香港、台湾地区及新加坡、日本、加拿大等国举办个展及讲学,出版多种个人画集。
Wang Mingming was born in 1952 in Beijing, Shandong Penglai County. His childhood love of painting, children’s work has been to more than thirty countries on display, won the world children’s drawing contest Grand Prize, first prize. In the 70s of last century, Wang Ming-ming long hard to learn and create, seek advice in Wu Zuoren, Li Kuchan, Jiang Zhao and Liu Ling Cang, Shen Shen, Zhou Sicong, Yoo Yew and other masters, and lay a solid foundation for painting. In 1978 admitted to the Central Academy of Arts and Technology did not enroll in the same year transferred to Beijing Art Academy engaged in professional creation. His works have participated in many large-scale art exhibitions throughout the country. He has solo exhibitions and lectures in Beijing, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan and Canada, and has published many individual paintings.
