2006年3月至2007年12月,英国皇家工程院分别以“什么是工程和工程知识?”、“系统工程和工程设计”、“人工智能和信息技术:哲学和工程在何处交融?”、“形而上学和工程”、“工程和环境伦理”为研讨主题,举办了由哲学家和工程师共同参加的工程哲学系列研讨会。该工程哲学系列研讨会在哲学界与工程界之间搭建起沟通的桥梁,对二者如何进行互动做出了有益的尝试,加强了工程哲学与工程科学的密切结合和相互促进,对工程哲学在未来如何进一步发展具有重要的启示意义。
March 2006 to December 2007, the Royal Institute of Engineering, respectively, “What is engineering and engineering knowledge?”, “Systems Engineering and Engineering Design ”, “Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology: Philosophy and Engineering in what Department of philosophy ”and“ metaphysics and engineering ”, “ engineering and environmental ethics ”as the theme of the seminar, held a series of engineering philosophy seminars attended by philosophers and engineers. The Symposium on Philosophy of Engineering set up a bridge of communication between the philosophical community and engineering community and made beneficial attempts to interact with each other. The project philosophy and the engineering science were closely integrated and mutually reinforcing. In the future how to further the development of important implications.
