实事求是是马克思主义的灵魂,是我们党的思想路线,也是党的优良传统和作风。是马克思主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论、江泽民同志“三个代表”的精髓。历史经验表明,凡是我们能够自觉地坚持实事求是的时候,我们的事业就发展:凡是我们背离或放弃实事求是的时候,我们的事业就遭受挫折。这是一条被实践反复证明的真理。 我认为,作为人民警察求讲,坚持实事求是应该做到:
Seeking truth from facts is the soul of Marxism, the ideological line of our party and the fine tradition and style of the party. It is the essence of Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and “Three Represents” of Comrade Jiang Zemin. Historical experience shows that whenever we can consciously persist in seeking truth from facts, our cause develops: Whenever we depart from or give up our cause of seeking truth from facts, our cause suffers a setback. This is a truth proven repeatedly by practice. In my opinion, as the police of the People’s Republic, seeking truth from facts, we should do the following:
