徐家拳徐家拳发源于山东省新泰市通济村,徐家拳起源于雍正年间,由徐氏高祖徐盛才所创,徐盛才,1725年出生(清雍正2年)卒于1797年。该公自幼习武,曾走南闯北拜师学艺,练就一身绝技,创立徐家拳。百余年来.世代传承,到第六代传人徐花葶,徐家拳已形成完善的体系,并掀起了一个新高潮。据老县志和徐氏家谱记载,徐花葶,字殿甲,1826年出生(清道光5年),1900年卒于通济村,徐花葶相貌伟岸,膂力过人。由于他善于研究,丰富了徐家拳的内涵,发扬光大徐家拳法及各种兵器的使用。徐花葶武功高强,多次参加大型比武,并名列前茅,在清咸丰年间被封为武痒生(即武秀才),清咸丰年间(1853年),徐花葶被推选为县团练团总,是年,太平捻军
