４至８月期间移栽和刈割的象草Ｎ５１开花期均稳定在１１月中下旬，不同播期的Ｔｉｆｔ２３Ａ约在播后６５．２天开花，变异系数３．８％。亲本开花期与积温无关。为与父本Ｎ５１花期同步，母本２３Ａ的适宜播期为９月上旬。
The flowering stage of grass weevil N51 during transplanting and mowing from April to August were all stable in the middle and late November. The Tift23A of different sowing dates about 65.2 days after sowing with coefficient of variation 3.8%. Parents and flowering has nothing to do with the temperature. In order to synchronize with the flowering date of male parent N51, the suitable sowing date of female parent 23A was in early September.
