委婉语是人类语言中普遍的现象,日常生活中人们都在使用大量的委婉语。女性在言语上表现出一些外在的特点:女性要比男性更多的使用委婉语或高层次委婉语。可以从美学的视角来阐释女性委婉语。
Euphemism is a common phenomenon in human language, and people use a lot of euphemisms in their daily life. Women have some extrinsic features in words: women use more euphemisms or higher euphemisms than men do. Female euphemism can be explained from the perspective of aesthetics.
