图中的仙人球看起来很普通,似乎没啥特别的。当初我买它时,也以为是子孙球一类的品种。但养着养着,我渐渐地发现它在仙人球中是个另类,有着特立独行的个性。初夏时节,球体顶部的刺座问会发出绿豆大小的花苞。起初我以为很快就能欣赏到花容了。谁知等到秋天也没见花苞继续长大,更没绽放。渐渐地,淡绿色的花苞变成了枯黄色,依然很饱满,剥开花苞,露出几十颗如鸡冠花籽大小的种子。它居然不声不响地结了籽!行事作风忒低调,整个一仙人球版的无花果。
