Since 2008, Shijiazhuang City, Tangshan City, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province have been included in the national pilot areas of innovative cities. In 2015, the number of small and micro enterprises in Hebei Province reached more than 2 million, the contribution rate of GDP was over 60%, the contribution rate of tax was over half, the invention patents over 60% and the new product development over 80% were completed, providing more than 80% urban and rural areas employment position.
