This article summarizes the theoretical and experimental studies on the development of a new type of industrial plant for the recovery of gold from the redefined concentrates of sand and sand. This new process is based on a non-polluting magnetic separation process that avoids the use of mercury in the production process and achieves a higher gold recovery than the amalgamation process with an index of 98.6-99.5%. The full range of equipment that has been developed is currently being put into industrial use among the nine gold mines in the former Soviet Union, and six more are in operation in 1993, some of which are used in countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States. This new technology is very promising for the recovery of semi-precious stones (such as diamond, ruby, etc.), artificial diamond, etc. The results obtained in laboratory studies are very encouraging.
