The problem? United States Lockheed Martin distribution technology department is facing a network technology challenges. It needed to choose a high-speed network to replace the existing serial port network on the nationwide postal sorting machine. After discussion and testing, finally, project engineers in the department found a solution that uses ARCNET as the backbone for data communications, coordinating the functions of all machines. What makes ARCNET optional? The advantage of ARCNET is that it coordinates the motion of the machine in keeping with the project’s cost and performance goals. Of course, for the project, the application of real-time operating systems such as QNX is also very important.
